Acquisition of 60% of PEARL by OCEAN RAIL LOGISTICS S.A.
On November 9th, 2019, the acquisition of 60% of PEARL’s share capital by OCEAN RAIL LOGISTICS, a 100% owned company of COSCO Shipping, was completed at the offices of PIRAEUS CONTAINER TERMINAL.
Present at the signing ceremony, were the Minister of Development and Investment, Mr. Adonis Georgiades, on behalf of the Greek Government, and the President of COSCO SHIPPING GROUP Capt. Xu Lirong.
On the part of COSCO SHIPPING GROUP, the agreement was signed by Mr. Lin Ji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of COSCO SHIPPING EUROPE GMBH, while on the part of PEARL, the President and CEO Mr. Panagopoulos Antonios.
